Eric Philippi did not perform with Michelle this time, but with Papa Martin. After their joint "Immer wieder sonntags" performance, tears flowed for both of them.
Rust – Stefan Mross (47) once again welcomed numerous fans and top-class guests to his "Immer wieder sonntags" arena at Europapark on 13 August. Among others, Eric Philippi (26) was also on stage – but he was not alone. Martin Philippi, the father of the pop star, was also there. Together, the father-son duo provided THE goosebump moment on "Immer wieder sonntags".
Not with Michelle, but with Papa Martin: Eric Philippi on "Again and again on Sundays"
It was not only a television premiere, but also a particularly emotional moment for Eric Philippi. Together with his father, he appears in the eleventh episode of "Immer wieder sonntags". Before the two captivate the TV viewers with their skills, they chat a bit with Stefan Mross about old times. "I had an unbelievably beautiful childhood," beams Eric Philippi.
Family cohesion is very important to the Philippis, you notice that immediately. Then it's off to the instruments. Eric sits down at the piano, Martin picks up his trumpet. Together they perform "I never wanted to be an adult" by Peter Maffay (73).

After the second verse, Eric Philippi gets up from the piano, picks up his trumpet and plays side by side with his father. A really nice moment. When the two play the last notes, they are taken by surprise by their emotions. When Eric Philippi and his father Martin hug on stage, they both have tears in their eyes. "He's got a little pee in his eye," Stefan Mross also recognizes. It's not every day that you're on stage with your dad.

"This is really something very special," replies Eric Philippi. Those who were looking forward to a love show with Michelle were unfortunately disappointed.
